Pushpdeep Bhardwaj directed the 2018 Indian Hindi-language musical romantic drama film Jalebi. Jalebi is an official remake of the Bengali film Praktan (2016). On her way, she meets Anu and her daughter, Pulti, and learns that Anu is Dev’s second wife. She also runs into Dev on the same train. During the journey, she reflects on her marriage to him. She also discovers Pulti’s birth name. In the end, they both discuss that their destinations are different from each other and they wish the best for each other.
